CANSTRUCTIONS

The "Canstructions" series originated from the combination of the words "Construction" and "Can". Empty aerosol cans in large quantities acquire a new quality. Recycle sculptures and installations are based on a play on words and materials. Familiar images constructed from balloons acquire a new interpretation and meanings.

"GRAFFITI IN THE CITY"
Recycle Installation, Yekaterinburg 2017

A work from a series of literal perception, a play on words and a reinterpretation of a street artist's tool, the spray can installation is a visualization of the answer to the question of what graffiti is - most often these are words written with spray cans of paint in public places. 490 empty cans were collected in 2 years of creative activity. An example is when quantity acquires a new quality and the empty instrument of the creator is reborn in a new transformed form.
